About the role: Design and improve the power stages and motor control hardware at the core of our ESCs.
What you will do
- Design power stages including MOSFET gate drive, current sensing, DC link and protection circuits.
- Analyse efficiency, thermal and switching behaviour, using simulation where useful.
- Build prototypes and validate them with the testing team.
- Work with firmware engineers on motor control, both FOC and trapezoidal.
- Support manufacturing and help solve issues reported from the field.
What we need
- At least 3 years of experience in power electronics design.
- Strong knowledge of gate drive, inverter design and BLDC or PMSM motor control.
- Experience with schematic design, simulation and lab validation.
- BE, B.Tech or M.Tech in electrical, electronics or power electronics engineering.
- Good to have: experience with high-current ESCs or electric vehicle motor controllers.
